Fifth, take risks of faith. Faith requires risk. Unfortunately risk invites fear, and decisions controlled by your fears can deprive you of both social impact and personal blessing. To be sure, caution is always to be encouraged—but being overly cautious can all too easily hinder your impact for Christ. No place is more exciting and secure than a position of wise faith in a God who is alive and active in the world. Put your career on the line for the Kingdom, along with your fortune and your freedom.
